Kathy Grimsby (MPT, MOMT)
Kathy is board certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Physical Therapy Association. She has 25 years of experience in PT including certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Kathy is one of only two physical therapists in the San Diego County area certified in LSVT BIG physical and occupational therapy.

Olga (BSPT, MOMT)
Olga joined Balance Plus Physical Therapy after many years of orthopedic out-patient PT at Sharp Rees-Stealy, Olga is thrilled to be delving into the world of vestibular physical therapy with Kathy’s brilliant and enthusiastic guidance.

Seth Seay, Massage Practitioner
Seth has practiced massage for six years and his work with athletes has strengthened his interest in the role of massage therapy in rehabilitation. He is currently enrolled at San Diego Mesa College taking courses in preparation for a bachelor’s in Pre-Physical Therapy from San Diego State University. He has also been involved in the culinary arts for 10 years and studies nutrition both independently and at the college level.

Ivy, Physical Therapy Aide
Ivy joined the team at Balance Plus Physical Therapy in June 2008. She is currently working toward a human biology major at the University of California, San Diego. Ivy plans to continue her education and become a pediatric physical therapist.
In the fall of 2008, Ivy attended massage school at the Meridian International School of Health Sciences. She completed the 100-hour massage technician program, learning the anatomy and methodology of circulation massage.

Dawn-Michelle, Office Manager/PT Aide
Dawn-Michelle came to Balance Plus Physical Therapy with a degree in communications from the world of high tech marketing. She wanted a more rewarding career so she decided to lean towards occupational therapy rehabilitation.
She decided to return to college to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She is currently working full time with Kathy as her office manager and PT assistant. She finds the experience in the office to be rewarding in that she gets to work with patients and help Kathy manage her business. The office environment is peaceful and conducive to learning making it an ideal place to work. She feels very blessed to be working with Kathy at Balance Plus PT.
